Sandbox Marketing, LLC of Laguna Niguel, CA has announced plans for a seven-stop mobile marketing tour for M&M Mars and its Lucas candy brand, announced today by Brian Gass, Partner, Sandbox Marketing, LLC.

The Lucas® Skate Tour is a unique opportunity for Latino youths ages 6-14 to come out and participate in a once in a lifetime experience. Lucas® will be bringing out 3 professional Latino skateboarders to instruct kids on the proper way to skateboard, including safety.

The youths will have the opportunity to skateboard on a first rate street course that has been designed and built with fun and safety in mind.

The entire event will have a bilingual MC host, with family friendly music that will be played by a professional DJ. The Lucas Skate Tour will have a very festive family atmosphere and there will be prizes given away throughout the day.

The 2005 Lucas Skate Tour schedule is as follows:

April 30 — Big Saver, La Puente, CA

May 1 – Vallarta Supermarket, Burbank, CA

May 7 – El Super, Panorama City, CA

May 14 – Foodtown, South Houston, TX

May 15 – Foodtown, South Houston, TX

May 21 – Fiesta Mart, Houston, TX

May 22 – Guadalupe Plaza, Houston, TX 

The events will include the following competitions:

Skateboard Street – 6-10 year old division

Skateboard Street – 11-14 year old

Skateboard Best Trick

Lucas® Salsagetti™ eating contest

Interactive Sponsor display area for fans to enjoy and get up-close and personal with Lucas, Starburst and Snickers products.
