For its sixth trip across the nation the 2011 Journeys Backyard BBQ made stops:

May 7 – San Antonio, TX
May 14 – Charlotte, NC
May 21 – Woodbridge, NJ
May 28 – Minneapolis, MN
June 4 – Denver,CO

Once again the tour visited high-traffic malls across the country with partners like DC Shoes, Vans, Etnies, etc… and threw the biggest baddest parking lot bbq that each town had ever seen.

Each stop included professional skateboard, BMX and freestyle motocross demos along with local bands competing in the Converse Battle of the Bands and free performances by bands like Thursday, New Found Glory, Plain White T’s and The Dirty Heads. Mix in some celebrity appearances by folks like Rob Dyrdek and Tom Delong and you’ve got a recipe for one amazing backyard bbq.

Once again the Journeys Backyard BBQ left noone un-rocked and spread the stoke along with some precisely targeted branding for the tour partners and planning is already in the works for the 2012 tour.
